About Alison Greenway Toowoomba Artist

Inspired by architectural design and historical heritage

Alison Greenway

Alison has resided in the Darling Downs region of Southern Queensland for almost 25 years, enjoying life as she mixes the peaceful countryside with her passion for drawing and showcasing the unique architectural buildings found throughout Queensland.

She is a Commission Artist who loves to draw homes for others, and those who also share her passion for charming and stylish buildings. Her skills initially developed when she did 4 years of Technical Drawing studies when at school,  she has continued to refine these skills over many years and focussed on detailed drawings of quality properties.

Her motivation is to create drawings that celebrate and respect each homes heritage and presence, and associated memories for the families who commission a ‘one off individual piece’ of art.

Alison predominantly uses black and coloured inks, pencil, and watercolour; drawings are available in 3 sizes – A5, A4 and A3. She has a number of Limited Addition quality Giclee Prints on cotton rag paper available for sale on this website.

""I love the drawing you did of my friends beautiful home in Brisbane.

I commisioned the drawing for a special gift for her to take with her when she

moved back to Perth so she could remember her fun times we had when living here with us.

She was thrilled, and so was I, thank you for putting so much detail into it – we love it."

MJ

"I have been following your art for many years and love your drawings, you are so talented"

Tracey F

We missed our old house once we shifted across town, so thank you for the lovely drawing

you did for us. All of our children were born in the older house so its very meaningful to us to

have a drawing of it hanging in our family lounge room now. You captured its character and

this helps bring back great memories. Great job Alison

Bob & Trish
